Antique Folk Iron Screen
A rare and unique blacksmith-made iron screen.
Delicately cut into shapes of birds and animals, this piece is a highly decorative example of folk art. The maker of the screen is unknown, however is believed to be dated to pre-1900 and of Eastern descent.
The patina to the iron is aligned with its age, the screen is solid in it’s construction with all original screws intact.
A unique find, we think this piece would work beautifully in a garden setting or repurposed as a fireplace screen.
